                                                 Position Overview:

                                                CGT is seeking a seasoned HR professional to proactively drive human resource initiatives, policies and procedures from a global HR perspective as well as within the contexts of BITZH and PR China at large.

                                                Reports to:

                                                CGT Dean and Associate Dean (Academic Internal Affairs)

                                                Job Duties:

                                                ·        Design and develop the HR Office at CGT, including the essential policies and procedures to be included in a Staff Handbook

                                                ·        Develop, lead and manage Faculty and Staff Performance Evaluation system in line with BITZH HR requirements

                                                ·        Develop, lead and manage Faculty and Staff Development policies and guidelines, plus help tailor and coordinate appropriate programs to our specific needs

                                                ·        Monitor the maintenance and update of HR related records

                                                ·        Oversee global and local recruitment efforts and take care of the related new hire requisition documents and procedures as required by BITZH HR

                                                ·        Familiarity with the overall talent plans and policies of the PRC government at the national and local level would be an added advantage

                                                ·        Play a leadership role in HR related committee meetings and take detailed minutes for record and implementation purposes

                                                ·        Other administrative tasks as assigned

                                                Required Qualifications:

                                                ·        Master’s Degree, preferably in human resource management, general management or related discipline.

                                                ·        At least 5 years of human resource or related experiences, preferably within education setting

                                                ·        Overseas qualifications and/or experiences preferred

                                                ·        Working knowledge of university culture and operations would be a real plus

                                                ·        Impeccable verbal and written communication skills in English and Chinese

                                                ·        Strong organizational skills and administrative skills, preferably with solid ability to multi-task and prioritize required tasks and projects

                                                ·        Ability to work in a team-oriented setting where sharing information and close collaboration with colleagues from across the College and the University is a must

                                                ·        Strong computer skills (e.g. college databases, web browsing) and PC applications (e.g. Outlook, Word, Excel, Access and PowerPoint)
